Katharina Whittington

Katharina has been in the health care industry for over nine years with experience providing customer service to clients, employees, health care insurance companies and case management.  Katharina specializes in navigating healthcare complexities and in her current position, oversees eligibility verification reviews, prior authorizations, chart audit requests, provider credentialing, patient communication and health care relations.

Specifically, Katharina enjoys providing helping hand to BCI’s clients and their families when it comes to navigating and understanding their benefits, the authorization process and coordinating care; this is where Katharina excels, always taking a compassionate approach to helping others.

Katharina has been able to establish meaningful connections with insurance case managers, which has helped in ensuring that our clients and their families receive the best possible care.

Volunteer Work

Katharina and her family have fostered animals that were set to be euthanized in local animal control facilities. Katharina takes them in, trains them, and loves them before looking for their forever homes. Her family has successfully rehomed five pets in the last 2 years. Katharina has donated and worked closely with a few of the nonprofit animal rescues in her area.
