Chinyoung (“Chinny”) began her journey in applied behavior analysis in 2017 at Autism Care for Toddlers Clinic through the University of Nebraska Medical Center. This is where she was first introduced to the field of autism and felt immense fulfillment in providing services for a growing population. In 2018, she expanded her passion for a well-rounded healthcare system by volunteering at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola as a public health research assistant. Chinny supported creating resources for underserved populations and weaved in her foundational knowledge of how the environment affects behavior. In 2019, Chinny joined a clinic-based ABA team in Florida where she found a team that focused on a well-rounded care, and compassionate approach to ABA services. In addition, Chinny expanded her education in behavior analysis practice and completed her master’s at Florida Institute of Technology.

Currently, Chinny is an Associate Clinician at Behavior Change Institute where she continues to foster her passion for compassion-centered care and enjoys supporting her clients and families to have fulfilling lives. As a clinician, she is responsible for collaborating with the clients and families to create assent-based and individualized programs, assess the progress of the programs, provide 1:1 family support, and provide supervision to the technicians.
