RBTs: The Leading Edge of Family Support
Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) are the front-line therapists that directly support our clients and families. RBTs work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), who expertly plans the treatment that is implemented by the RBT. RBTs implement treatment through working one-on-one with children with autism in their homes, schools, and in community settings. Because our RBTs work on the leading edge of family support, their observations are valuable for producing behavioral data that is used by our behavior analysts to enhance the effectiveness of intervention. RBTs also have the opportunity to influence our clients’ progress first hand while working in a role that is both challenging and extremely rewarding!
Our RBTs have access to great benefits, including competitive pay, comprehensive training, professional development opportunities, and a clear career path toward becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, should individuals choose to pursue that career goal (check out our BCBA Internship page for more information).
RBTs who consistently demonstrate strong communication skills, professionalism, and a commitment to our mission may be invited to participate in opportunities outside of the scope of their clinical work. These may include:
- Community Liaison Program – Work in your local community to forge connections between our staff members through staff events. Help build BCI’s presence in your community by representing BCI at conferences, local autism benefits, job fairs, and other local events.
- Peer Mentorship Program – Become a mentor & help new BCI RBTs become comfortable in their clinical role, and help orient them to BCI’s company culture, processes, and procedures.
- BCBA Internship – Our BCBA Internship program is free and provides a unique opportunity to train as a BCBA with some of the brightest in the field. Also, with our research partnership with Stanford University and years of leading research contributions in the growing field of ABA telehealth, you’ll gain invaluable experience and connections.
Our company culture is recognized for being consistently positive, innovative, and forward-thinking, and we truly value the contributions of each of our team members. We look forward to welcoming you to our team!
